Similar to the Luxury of Joy, this piece came from my collection of weird and happy Gucci print ads. Jackalopes add to the whimsical feel, providing a reminder that we choose what we count as luxury – the superficial, or the deeply pleasurable?

I’ve been blessed with an outlook that’s easily delighted and highly enthusiastic, and it comes out in my art. Though each of us has a unique natural disposition, I think it’s important to find all the little and big things that bring you joy, and incorporate them into your days intentionally.

Give 300% weight to your favorite moments, and 10% weight to the things that drain or disappoint you. Your story then becomes a game of looking for life’s love notes to you.
