IS THIS

THE ONLY PROGRAM?

We’re so used to our lives.

[wake up, work, pills, phone, eat, elections?, money, stress, covid?, sleep]

Some of us want to know… is there another reality?

SOME OF US WERE DESIGNED

TO MAKE OUR OWN HERO’S JOURNEY

To step out of the common current and create scenes that have never been lived before.

It’s not for everyone… but for those who feel the pull, it is clearly time to question business-as-usual.

It’s time explore the new paradigm that our planet (and society, and our mental health) is begging for.

CONSCIOUSNESS

THE DRIVERS OF CULTURE

LIFE ON EARTH

MIND-BENDING QUESTIONS

THE MYTHS WE’RE MADE OF

THE KIND OF BEAUTY YOU CAN feel

…It’s the questions we don’t ask that keep us in velvet handcuffs.

With bars on our minds.

Locks on relationships.

Leaks in money.

Holes in beliefs.

Weakness in our presence.

Distance from our true nature.

And cycles that repeat.

“BUT WHAT CAN I DO WHILE THE WORLD IS SIDEWAYS?”

YES, THERE IS MORE TO LIFE

Ulysses, Siddhartha and the Secret to Willpower

After struggling to finish creative projects, I’ve felt caught under the spell of a perpetually unfocused brain. I would begin one project after another, experimenting but building nothing substantial. Right before despairing my circular results, two stories on...

Emotionally Intelligent Fairy Tales

Sadness, anger, longing, vexation... who has time for those?    When I started this blog, the familiar smog blew through a few times; "I have an impossibly long way to go." This frustration, or "The Dip," as Seth Godin calls it, is a regular companion for...

The Little Prince and Perfectionism

After I reached my first big-life-goal, comparison and busyness had me take my career (and myself) a little too seriously. An Aesop fable and French parable remind me why I create in the first place — to play in life as a regular human. Three months ago, I...

How to Park Tangly Thoughts in 2 Minutes

Look at Koi fish for 2 minutes in a meditative fashion. That's it.  For those of us who still have to-do lists popping up while we're looking at the koi fish (or we just don't have any nearby):   Monks used riddles to confound their minds. They would think about...

Why Getting Out of Your Head Is The Single Most Important Life Accomplishment

It's logical, really:  Life is happening out there, not in our heads. Strokes of genius usually come when we're not staring down the problem. Our bodies physically respond with cortisol when we turn a circumstance into a problem. Cortisol is the hormone that slowly...
